How do I qualify for free pick-up and delivery?

Proudly based in Chatham we deliver throughout the Chatham-Kent Region and the surrounding south-western Ontario area, including Windsor, Sarnia, and Strathroy areas.

Our regular service area in South-Western Ontario includes - East of the Detroit River, South of Sarnia (inclusive) and the Highway 402, West of Strathroy (inclusive), Mount Brydges (inclusive), and Iona Station (inclusive), and North of Point Peele National Park.

​

Delivery and pick-up charges within our service area is $25.00+0.79¢ per kilometer of driving distance between our main office and the delivery location.

​

These delivery and pick-up fees will be waived in the event that all rental items are picked up from and returned personally by the renter to our Chatham location. In order to qualify for this option both pick-up and drop-off must be completed the same day as the event between the hours of 9am and 9pm.

Can I receive a refund for unused items? 

In the event that an item or items are rented out to you and you decided not to use them, no refund will be provided to you for these items.

What are the cleaning instructions?

1.  Pre-soak all glassware, flatware, and dinnerware using warm water only.

2.  Thoroughly rinse items, gently scrubbing off debris using only the provided spatulas.

3.  Let air dry (if possible), or using the drying cloths provided dry all items.

4.  Shake out all table linens and fold them neatly away. (if applicable)

5. Gently pack up all items back in their original boxes and bins.

What are the Re-packing instructions?

BIN #1 - Food Stands, Care and Cleaning Package, Table Linens, and Charger Plates.

BIN #2 - Glassware, Flatware, and Dinnerware sets. 

BIN #3 - Teapots, Coffee Pots, Creamers, Sugar Bowls, and Butter Dishes.

Remember should an item not fit in its original box or bin, don't force it. We'll be happy to re-pack it upon pick-up. Otherwise, it is expected that all items be cleaned and re-packed prior to pick-up.

What are the Care DOs and DONTs?

Do have a joyous royal tea affair!

Do remember that while fine china is incredibly durable it is delicate.

Do keep all original packaging materials fore re-packing of all items following your affiar.

Don't clean any item with hot water or cleaning products such as soaps, detergents, disinfectants etc.

Don't put any item in the dishwasher.

Don't put any item in the microwave or oven.

Don't dry or scrape clean any item with any tool other than what is provided.

Don't rinse or wash the table linens.

Don't rinse or wash charger plates.

What if items become broken or lost?

We realize that many of our items are delicate and as such need to be treated with care. Therefore, if for any reason items become lost and/or damaged you will be charged according to the current full retail value of each piece considered lost and/or damaged. 

What if something is missing or items arrive broken?

We take the utmost care to ensure that all items requested arrive on time and undamaged. Yet, we recommend that you inspect all items rented out to you upon delivery.

 

This is because in the event that an item or items are missing or have been delivered to you damaged you must notify us of the damage within the same delivery date. Failure to notify us at the time of delivery will result in the item being lost or the damage incurred to be deemed your responsibility, and you will be charged the current full retail value for the item(s).

In the event that items are indeed missing from your delivery or are delivered to you damaged. We will do everything to ensure that each item is replaced with an identical item or one of equal or greater rental value. As we will always strive to ensure that your event is a true royal tea affair!
